Early Childhood Creativity was founded through conversations and actions with a number of artists and individuals with a keen interest in placing quality arts for and with very young children centre stage in 2012. It is a limited company founded by Orla kelly and she stands as it current director.

Early Childhood Creativity works with a variety of amazing independant artists, all whom have their own arts practice and a wealth of experience working with children and arts organisations, designing and delivering creative and innovative events and activities.

All of those who work with Early Childhood Creativity are passionate about promoting creativity and the arts with children. We highly value creative imagination and activities, not just because they are fun and engaging but because the arts and our creative spirit fuel our curiosity and creative capacity. This in turn refuels our imagination and allows us to see our true potential and make real our dreams, impacting not only our own future but on the future of our community and our world.

Orla is a visual artist, creative educationalist and an arts manager. Her own education includes a diploma in psychology from Maynooth, a degree in fine art from Limerick College of Art and Design and a masters in arts management from Anglia Ruskin University Cambridge. She has worked with children for over fifteen years creating work in Dublin, and mainland Europe, with and without a common spoken tongue, using creative understanding to collaboratively create. She is currently working in partnership with Fingal Arts Office and Scoil Bhride Cailini in Blanchardstown, as artist-in-residence in Room 13 Inquiry, a unique arts-in-education programme that aims to encourage intellectual diversity in primary education.
